Here we come again; it is all about who we are and what we stand for

  1. Soon will see if Hararis shows what it takes to solve the problems that edging closer to destroy them.

  1. It is all about leadership and responsibility.

  1. Fail or success, the fate of Hararis is in balance and primarily it is their actions that determine the future and destiny.

  1. Others can make things worst or help, but at the end the Hararis must prove they are worthy of the challenges.

  1. Hararia lives or dies on your hand

  1. Be brave and clean up the mess and assert, affirm and restore the hops and aspirations once more

  1. Hararis are calling for new leadership and you the brave ones must answer and rise up for such defining moments and rare occasions

Let us do it again; some of you are born in Diaspora. Some of you are born in Harari and raised in Diaspora. Some of you know very little about Harar; yet, you proudly identify yourself as Hararis. That is a commendable action. The Harari people appreciate your love for Harari and its people. They are counting on you to be part of a peaceful and successful Harari. However, IF you are following and advocating for the unjust HNL’s system without question, how do you think it is possible for you to be part of Hararis future?

Over the years, I spoke with some of you who visited Hararia. Your outlook of Harari and the people has been very disappointing and sad. Some of you were angry by the Harari people’s poverty, destitute nature, lack of basic things, problems of water, expensive foods, the lack of protections for the elderly and the youth who are neglected and addicted with harmful drugs; and the low value of education and employment in our society. Some of you were annoyed by the backward nature of government and how our people are abandoned by federal and Harari governments.  Hararis people are suffering and cannot speak, talk, organize and forced into silence with systematic terror by HNL. Undoubtedly, most of you know that HNL is inflicting serious and permanent damages to Hararis. Yet, yet, yet… you chose not to say anything and stop the repressions.

  1. When our people are deprived water and basic needs;
  2. When people forced out from their jobs;
  3. When people forced to run away from Harar to other part of Ethiopia;
  4. When oppositions parties refused to enter Harar and members hunted down and expelled from their jobs;
  5. When high level government officials arrested one by one on corruptions without trials for years;
  6. When HNL immersed to their neck in corruptions and dealing with criminal businesses;
  7. When HNL robbed and embezzled public lands and properties;
  8. When HNL robbed and embezzled monies from Harari diasporas;
  9. When HNL divided, attacked and undermined Harari diasporas;
  10. When HNL divided the Harari constitutional power with OPDO;
  11. When HNL ignored and abandoned the youth and the elderly;
  12. When HNL promoted bribe, chat and work absenteeism as proud culture;
  13. When HNL and its partner OPDO openly committed many crimes;
  14. when diaspora families threatened and taken hostage to silence legitimate grievances

You chose to remain silent and allowed the crime to continue in clear day light.
You chose to remain silent and allowed the crime to continue in clear day light.
You chose to remain silent and allowed the crime to continue in clear day light.

Now we are paying for collective silence and complicity of many years. The crimes of many years knocked out and smashed our souls in to pieces.

When ask you why you are so indifferent to your people’s suffering, you always run away and say Allah hal. You are running from responsibility and reflecting cowardice act and unnatural character from Harari. Un harari, individualistic, selfish, irresponsible act that destroyed the foundations of Hararis. You have given your backs and refused to do something about it.  You have the opportunity; the ability and the power to help and do some thing to correct injustice.  Harari people honestly believe that their children can come up with some kind of help and have no one except you in this world. This belief is shared by all Hararis who do not have running water or electricity and denied justice.

Harari in Diaspora, you are smart and capable of accomplishing any thing if you put your mind to it. Though, it breaks my heart to see you when you are used as loose cannon or simply carless and forgot your people. HNL has mischievous and poisonous motives and do not have the best interest of your future and the Harari people. HARARI in Diaspora, tell me what you stand for? When there is no justice, how do you stand for justice?  In diaspora, you do face many different hardships and discrimination in your host country.  For example, in the USA, if the civil right movement did not happen and someone did not pave the way for us the opportunity we enjoy today would not be possible. Thus, you should pave the way for our people and the young people in Harari. If you are serious, start from asking some hard questions about HNL and its members and supporters.

HNL, what good is that did or do for Hararis?  The question you have to ask your self is to identify some of the reasons not to support the HNL system. I am asking you to ask questions when you are ask to be used as a snake head to spread HNL’s venoms. I am not asking you to believe me. I am asking you to believe your intuitions and to have a sense of right and wrong. HNL is an oppressive system which is crushing the will of Harari people. HNL is not a club that you hang out with your friends. To be a member of HNL, it will have serious implication years to come. It is not a good rational to join HNL because your brother, sister, aunt, uncle or some family member is HNL minister or balseltan.

If you ask any HNL leader, what is HNL’s history? Is HNL a party? Why is HNL not interested in democratic process? No one seems to have an answer.  True story, about ten years ago I was approached by HNL member to join HNL. My first question was what is it? And what does it stand for?  I was not asking literally. But I was asking what the measureable outcome of HNL is. I ask what the difference between independent thinking Harari and that of members of HNL young or old? For my surprise, the person had no answer for my questions. However, he had one question for me. He asks if I belong to kinijit party.  Insulting and labeling good people is a weapon of first choice for weak and evil creatures and amhara, ihapa, kinijit, eprdf, wayne, hodam and similar terms used without any result.   Although I was angry, his question did not bother me as character assassinations are the tradition of people without self stems, self-confidences and sub creatures of HNL. But I was stunned, thinking all that drama about HNL was something to do with the Harari people evaporated right there in front of my eyes.  Over the years it proved that HNL goal is not about Harari interests and is about individual enrichment and self promotions.  Harar lost itself under HNL and HNL sold Harar.

It is clear that there is a language barrier and impossible to talk to HNL people. HNL people speak different languages and have no ears for the people.  But, have you ever questioned the HNL leaders’ motives? Have you ever ask why young people from Harari are fleeing the country? Have you ever asked why Harari people have no water for many, many, many…years? Have you ever imagine living in a region without law and real government? Have you? Have you asked the HNL leaders, why did the Harari government eliminate all free press? HNL members, you realize that you are going to pay for the HNL leaders’ crime. Your excuse “I did not know” is not going to be good enough to save you. You are your own person and you should decide for yourself.   You have the information, the solid facts and ideas to distance yourself and run away from HNL.

Let me make it very clear that my demands from any Harari leader are: taking care of our people, justice for all Hararis, preparing our young for the future and caring for our environment and preserve for the future.

Here are some important points to help you think about your decisions regarding HNL rotten systems:

  1. Do you believe demanding the Harari regime to live up to its promise of fairness, justice and equity and good government for all Hararis is speaking against Harari or the regime?
  2. Do you believe it is acceptable for the Harari regime to control and manipulate every aspects of public and private business directly or indirectly?
  3. Is it fair for any Harari, members of ruling party or ordinary citizen to be in prison for years without trial?
  4. Is it fair for any Harari to lose jobs for belonging to another party or having a different view?
  5. Do you believe it is acceptable for the regime to alter the constitution against Harari interests?
  6. Do you believe it is acceptable for the regime to refuse to talk to and listen to the oppositions and diasporas?
  7. Is fair for Hararin families to micro manage their private lives?
  8. Do you believe in order to build personal wealth a generation or two have to be scarified?
  9. Do you believe that it is possible to build a nation while depriving people basic needs and competitive educational systems?
  10. Do you believe it is acceptable for the Harari youth to be wasted without schooling, employment and encouraged to be drug addicts?
  11. Is it fair for HNL around the world to divide and dismantle our communities?
  12. Do you believe the slogan by HNL if opposed “some one will take Harar!” is for real?

I want you think hard and objectively about these points and seriously search and seek answers. This state is not only belong to HNL and we must unite and fight for better government.

Before you go and be a foot soldier for HNL in these difficult days, I am asking you to think about the above points and think about the many Hararis young and old perished in the fight for freedoms.  I want you think the similarity between those victims and your own parents. Decades before, our parents were brave enough to withstand similar and harsh treatments and they were very brave and firm. Sadly, the Harari regime has broken the trust and destroyed the flame of hope. The HNL regime is so out of touch, arrogant and has no decency or sensitivity toward our people.

HARARI members in diaspora, those HNL recruiters are still around. Make no mistakes; they know what they are doing and they will never brave enough to correct their errors and they are fools and foolish subjects set dead to take Hararis with them to hell.  It will never be too late to side with the people and courageously clean the mess of HNL. Have courage and determinations to correct mistakes before our people sucked in deeper crises and to unknown dark HNL plan. There is no way out except dumping the stinking HNL from power and the region altogether. Your duty and it is your responsibility to stand with the Harari people firmly and decisively.  Be organized and be part of the future and not the miserable and unworthy HNL system.  It time to seek and call for new leaderships. Hararis must believe in themselves and establish confidence and start building strong leadership. This is the only way of salvation. HNL is finished.

  • Soon will see if Hararis shows what it takes to solve the problems that edging closer to destroy them.

  • It is all about leadership and responsibility.

  • Fail or success, the fate of Hararis is in balance and primarily it is their actions that determine the future and destiny.

  • Others can make things worst or help, but at the end the Hararis must prove they are worthy of the challenges.

  • Hararia lives or dies on your hand

  • Be brave and clean up the mess and assert, affirm and restore the hops and aspirations once more

  • Hararis are calling for new leadership and you the brave ones must answer and rise up for such defining moments and rare occasions
