We should save our beautiful Harar, where Hararis, Oromos and many other ethnic groups live in peace and harmony for generations. We must preserve, protect and strengthen the bonds and relations among the people. The Hararis and Oromos which form the core of the government must work hard and in unity to bring peace, development, justice and good government. The present rulers from HNL and OPDO fragmented, alienated and oppressed the entire people and it is time for them to go. They utterly failed to bring economic, social and political development to the region. Harari region is the least developed and the most neglected one. Therefore, both the Hararis and the Oromos must unite and work for common good and better government and reject manipulations of any kind. The recent crises and crimes should not be allowed to serve the agenda of bad rulers and instead solidify their solidarity for justices and fairness. Our communities should work in union to mend broken promises and build equitable society.
After days of confusions, utter disarray and hiding from the Harari public the foot soldiers of HNL are starting to come out from their caves with false and misleading statements*. If you notice there is no OPDO on the list and who is the Harari people’s democratic organization listed on the statements? Documents without official head letters and signatures are mailed all over the place and mocking and joking on the grieving public. In truth they should send these statements to ETV, Addis Zemen, Reporter and other reputable media and websites such as Walta, aiga, Ethiopian government sites and should be available to all Ethiopians. They are always the same, dishonest, deceptive and liars. HNL and their supporters perfected the art of deceptions and now desperately trying to do more damages and divide the community.
Their supporters are planning to organize paltalk conferences to silence and spread their false and misleading disinformation and attack individuals and groups who are fighting for justice and good government by using gangsters and badmouthed individuals. The best thing is not to go there and show your anger for these corrupt and irresponsible groups who destroyed Hararis for the last 20 years. Boycott their paltalk, meetings and fundraising events which used as tools to oppress our people. HNL is a mafia group without redemptions that work for interest of few individuals at the expense of their people. They with OPDO are fully accountable and would be held responsible for crimes they commit against innocent Hararis. They cannot hide, blame others and shift responsibilities to some body else. The record of twenty years of crimes and total destructions on the Hararis must to be accounted for.
The HNL members and supporters are busy looking to blame someone, something and shift the focus to anybody but HNL. They are trying to deflect the problems by blaming certain individual or individuals for the crimes that is going on for two decades. They targeting and looking to lay the blame on a certain individual from the other party instead of taking full responsibility; face justice and resign immediately. They cannot play innocence anymore and should resign without further damage and transfer power to honest, respected, responsible and dignified Hararis. Blame game and fear factor are the two characteristic of HNLits. Always they tell us and trying to frighten us, if you oppose HNL Harar will go and disappear for ever and will be taken over by this or that group. The Ethiopian constitution guaranteed and enshrined the right of the people of Hararis with defined territories and whether HNL goes or stays will have no impact whatsoever. Ethiopia is not a country built by mafias where the rules of the country change because of HNL crises or demise.
These fear factors should be dealt with and Hararis must come united with the confidence and resolve to put their homes in order by disposing bad rulers in the form of HNL and OPDO parasites. The most important thing is not to be a hostage forever for imaginary fear and instead fight for justice bravely and resolutely. One need to be firm, strong, focused and stand for truth and rights regardless. Imaginary and unfounded fear is the cage of slavery.
Some of HNL supporters as usual already started defaming, intimidating and freighting the Hararis who voiced their strong objections to the years of HNL and OPDO oppressions and corruptions. I say be firm, strong and reject intimidations and unfounded and nonexistence fear. My fellow Hararis never allow others to harass, oppress, intimidate and frighten you and force you to retreat from seeking justice and responsible government. Never allow anyone to take advantage of love of your country for selfish reasons and taken captive to slave you. Fight fear with faith, reason, knowledge and truth.
